Why this exists

Learning you carry one or two copies of the APOE4 gene can be overwhelming. The information is scattered across dense journal articles, hours-long podcasts, forums, and news coverage that often overstates or misreads the science. OutliveAPOE4 brings it together in one place, in plain language, and keeps coming back to the question that matters most: what can I actually do about it?

What we cover

APOE4 is most strongly linked to two things: late-onset Alzheimer’s disease and cardiovascular disease. We organize everything around those outcomes and the levers that influence them: diet, exercise, sleep, lipids, blood pressure, metabolic health, and emerging therapies.

How we work

  • Plain language. We translate jargon without dumbing down the substance, and we’re explicit about uncertainty.
